Seeking Info On Arson Fire

Arson Investigators are asking for the publics help in apprehending the suspect(s) responsible for a recent fire which occurred in Redwood Estates, in Santa Clara County, California.

On August 14, 2000 at approximately 12:30 a.m. unknown suspect(s) carried a large wood and cardboard shipping box (used to ship a utility trailer) from the yard of one residence on Mary Alice Drive to a small outside building located at the residence of 18020 Madrone Drive.  The Building was occupied with the window open and the TV on.  At approximately12:40 a.m. the resident in the building at 18020 Madrone heard noises outside the so they turned off the TV and looked outside but saw nothing, and the noises stopped. At approximately 1:10 the box was placed under the window and next to the only door leading out of the building.  The box was lit on fire and quickly started burning the outside of the building.  The occupant, who had fallen asleep, awoke to the window breaking from the heat of the fire.  The side and roof of the building was on fire.  The occupant was able to escape uninjured.  Investigators believe that there was more than one suspect involved in this Arson fire.
