Race:            Caucasian

Age:              28-35

Height:         5’8”-5’10”

Weight:        175-190 lbs.

Eyes:            Unknown

Hair:              Brown

Build:            Heavy

Clothing:      Navy Blue BB/Cap; denim shirt; blue denim pants; dark brown  sunglasses;  carried brown leather portfolio 6”x9”inside a black bag 5”x7” with a zipper top     

 

 INCIDENT DATE/TIME:    Thursday, July 12, 2001/3:30 PM

                                                Thursday, July 12, 2001/4:10 PM 

VICTIM:                                  Washington Mutual Branches

                                                3600 Bristol  St, Santa Ana

LOCATION:                          12141 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove

 

WEAPON:                             Note used, handgun threatened.

SUMMARY:  In both robberies robber approaches teller with a black day planner type portfolio  with a demand note inside which read, “This is a holdup, give me all your money, don’t give me the dye pack, I have a gun.”  The tellers complied with the robber’s wishes and gave him money from their teller drawers.   No vehicle observed.
