On May 9, 2007 at approximately 10:44 AM the WaMu Montclair Office located at 9133 Central Ave, Montclair was victim to a robbery.

The suspect approached the Merchant Window, displayed at note which stated “hold up give me your 100’s and 50’s I have a gun.”  The teller complied and the suspect verbally stated “get his too”, referring to the teller at her side. The victim teller walked to the other teller, requested his 50’s and gave them to the suspect.

Unaware of the robbery the Security Officer onsite noticed the suspicious behavior of the suspect leaving the branch and was able to witness him running across the street and getting into a white 4-door Dodge Stratus.
