Attempted Bank Robbery of WAMU in West Fort Worth
Fort Worth, TX – On Monday, May 21, 2007, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Fort Worth Police responded to a holdup alarm at the Washington Mutual Bank, located at 9112 Camp Bowie West Blvd. According to the victim teller, the suspect entered the bank and approached the counter. The suspect (described below) handed the victim a robbery demand note and displayed a handgun in his waist band. The victim attempted to comply with the suspect’s demands; however, the suspect left the bank without completing the robbery and did not get away with any cash. No one was injured during the incident.
