Animal Abuse is a Crime!

Springerville, AZ- Monday September 1, 2014 at approximately 7:00 p.m. a cat was thrown from a moving car in the area of Apache Street and Silva Lane in Springerville. The cat appeared to have been set on fire, there was significant singeing on both ears and part of the body. The cat also appeared to have a deep cut on its lip.

A smaller sedan, possibly a blue or purple Dodge Neon with some paint damage and a rear deck spoiler was seen driving away from the scene, license # unknown. No description available on driver/passenger(s).

“Angel” had been under the care of a veterinarian and finally succumbed to its extensive injuries on November 2, 2014.
