Baldwin Borough, PA…….Baldwin Borough, Pennsylvania has joined forces with WeTip, Anonymous Crime reporting organization to make neighborhoods safer in their community.

Officer Keith Hagan heard about the successful WeTip Program and brought WeTip to Baldwin Borough to provide a safe and anonymous tip line for the people of the community. Officer Hagan has said, “I am very excited about the possibilities that this program will bring to our cases.” This new partnership is another step toward our vision of being the most effective, anonymous crime reporting resource in the nation. WeTip has aided law enforcement authorities in taking over 1,200,700 crime reports resulting in over 17,000 Crimes solved. All calls and webtips to WeTip are absolutely anonymous. No one ever knows who made the call.

WeTip & Omnitrans Introduces Proactive “Don’t Touch the Driver” Safety Campaign

In partnership with WeTip, Omnitrans is introducing a new safety campaign, “Don’t Touch the Driver.” on its buses and at transit centers to remind the community that any violence against bus drivers is a felony offense.

“Although driver assault hasn’t been a particular problem for Omnitrans, it unfortunately has been on the rise across the nation. We definitely want to take a proactive role in protecting the safety of our employees and customers,” said Omnitrans Security & Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Mark Crosby.

The Proactive “Don’t Touch the Driver” Safety Campaign campaign features a simple graphic and the information that any assault against a bus driver will  be prosecuted. As is typical of WeTip campaigns, anyone who has information that leads to the arrest and conviction of someone responsible for such an incident is eligible to receive a $1,000 reward.

Fatal Shooting: Detectives Seeking Witnesses

Detectives seeking witnesses to fatal shooting

Vernon, CA…On Saturday, October 22, 2016 at approximately 1:09 a.m., a shooting occurred near the intersection of Alameda Street and 38th Street in the City of Vernon. The victim, a 28 year old male adult, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. The shooting took place in the middle of the roadway and it is believed that there were other motorists in the vicinity that witnessed the shooting.

The suspect vehicle is a blue/green four door sedan with moderate traffic collision damage to the right rear quarter-panel and rear bumper. The suspect vehicle drove off westbound 41st Street from Alameda Street, with its rear bumper dangling from the left corner.

Sexual Assault: Suspect Wanted

SUSPECT WANTED IN SEXUAL ASSAULT AFTER FACEBOOK ENCOUNTER

Riverside, CA- The Riverside Police Department’s Sexual Assault – Child Abuse Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Domingo Juan Andres, a suspect in at least two sexual assaults involving 12-year-old and 15-year-old females. One of these sexual assaults occurred in 2015 near the intersection of Grove Avenue and Woodbine Street, in the Eastside neighborhood of Riverside. The other assault occurred in 2016 near Rutland Park in the 7000 block of Rutland Avenue, in the Arlanza neighborhood of Riverside.

Domingo is described as being between the ages of 18 and 20, about 5’7” to 5’9” in height, approximately 160 pounds, and from the Riverside area. He may also go by the name of “Junior.”

Domingo first communicated online with both victims using Facebook Messenger. He then later met the victims in person and committed the sexual assaults. Detectives believe there may be other victims who have not yet come forward.

On Tuesday, May 17, 2016, Luann Beckman, white female, 47 years old, was found deceased in a wooded area near Noseeim Lake, Phelps, Vilas County, Wisconsin. She was last seen on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Phelps Convenience Center, Phelps, Wisconsin, at approximately 7:10 p.m.
